The short explanation of this alert was:
The House-Senate Conference on the tax reconciliation bill is nearing an end to its work and has determined to divide the bill into two separate packages. An important package of charitable giving incentives and reforms, many of which mirror recommendations of the Panel on the Nonprofit Sector, were not included in the first package and Senator Grassley is working hard to gain assurances that they will be included in the second package. Decisions are likely to be made on this matter soon. We urge you to send the letter below to your Representative and also urge you to call him or her as soon as possible.
